Open to All Attendees Tours
This is 1 of 3 guided tours to unique projects in the city to learn the trials, triumphs, and lessons of developers from the project managers themselves. All tours will depart from W Bangkok.

Departing from W Bangkok, we begin our tour at the Grand Postal Office, now home to the TCDC on Charoen Krung road. Its future is looking bright as an events location with strong programming and as a constant landmark in the Creative District. The TCDC’s arrival caps an incredible rise for Bangkok’s oldest road, which in recent years has seen a spate of cool bars and galleries take over old shop-houses.

Learn about the genesis and placemaking of the Creative District from David Robinson, who has lived in Bangkok since 2002 and was appointed by the Bangkok River Partners to market the Chao Phraya River as a premier destination for leisure and tourism.

David will guide us on a bespoke tour of the Creative District, where a collection of hand-picked attractions awaits us. We begin at the Charoen43 Art & Eatery, a new creative power space in the Charoen Krung neighborhood. Next, we visit ATT19; a former heritage building converted into a modern multidisciplinary art space. After, we stop at the Vhils wall, showcasing his carving technique and revealing his memories and history in Bangkok. We then head to Warehouse30, a once unused warehouse turned creative center. The tour concludes at the BUKRUK Wall, Bangkok’s emerging street art, and the ‘new vibe’ of the Charoen Krung neighborhood.
