Tue 19 Nov 3:10 PM — 3:50 PM (GMT+07:00) Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta Hilton Saigon, Saigon Ballroom, Level 5
In the face of increasing climate threats, the need for resilient urban development has never been greater. This session will explore how countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand are enhancing and adapting their built environments to mitigate the worst risks of climate change. Our panel of experts will discuss innovative strategies to balance coastal development with climate resilience, ensuring economic growth does not come at the expense of our environment. We will also consider the critical question of how to make tourism infrastructure compatible with sustainable economic development. Can we really keep resilience and sustainability at the forefront of building tomorrow’s cities?
