Surrounded by high rise buildings but nestled amongst lush grounds, The Glass House is a beautiful venue set in landscaped gardens overlooking the iconic Nai Lert Park Heritage Home and its surroundings.
The park holds historical importance as the first western-style public park in Siam, even before Bangkok’s Lumpini Park was opened. It is the premises upon which Nai Lert Park Heritage Home was built in 1915, as the permanent residence for Phraya Bhakdinoraseth and his family. Today the private residence has been converted to a heritage property with elegant furnishings & family heirlooms, all part of an enthralling history from three generations.
We will leave the urban jungle behind to enter a magical setting of soft lights and swaying trees where we will enjoy relaxing drinks by the Lotus Pond – a WW2 bomb landing site-turned-pond – followed by a delectable gourmet dinner in air-conditioned comfort at the modern Glass House. The evening experience also includes a private tour of the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home.
