Study Tour: Gaysorn Village – Placemaking for urban regeneration

Based on the concept of an artisan village, Gaysorn Village is a mixed-use development that takes an innovative approach to urban regeneration, creating an experiential focal point where people can reconnect and achieve a WORK, LIVE, PLAY, GROW balanced lifestyle.

 

We begin the tour at the Cocoon, an architectural masterpiece inspired by a silkworm cocoon. This is followed by an overview of the iconic Ratchprasong district at the Gaysorn Tower lobby. We will then explore the Gaysorn Urban Resort at level 19. A destination within a destination, it takes its cue from a relaxing tropical resort that gives the place a strong holiday vibe, offers multi-functional venues for “Social Cultivation” and co-working spaces under the concept of “collaboration” ideal for business and private events. Next, we visit Gaysorn Walk to understand its placemaking principles.

 

The tour will conclude at Gaysorn Amarin sales gallery where participants will hear from Khun Charn Srivikorn, Chairman of Gaysorn Property, whose eye for stewardship, placemaking and lifestyle programming reimagined a traditional luxury mall into a unique urban community. Khun Charn will share Gaysorn Village’s urban regeneration programme and engage in an open discussion about its challenges, successes, and future.
