As Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited, or “FPIT”, Mr. Sopon Racharaksa is responsible for growing and maintaining the company’s strong position as Thailand’s leader in the development of industrial properties. The portfolio under his responsibility is approximately THB 80 billion or about 3.4 million square meters of NLA across Thailand and Indonesia in standard factory and modern warehouse buildings. In addition, FPIT has now become an expert in the Built-to-Suit development that focuses on delivering solutions to meet specific requirements of each customer.

Mr. Sopon Racharaksa is a veteran in business and organizational management. He combines this strong management background with his business acumen and multi-industry insights as he drives organizational progress through strategic planning, business development, project management, business process improvement and change management. Mr. Sopon previously spent more than 19 years in T.C.C. Group, where he has taken positions in a diverse range of businesses, including investment holding, property development, hotel management, property funds, MICE, and responsibilities in long-term investment planning of large-scale development projects. He then joined Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited in early 2017.

Due to his multidisciplinary competencies, Mr. Sopon consistently serves as a member of working committees and boards by invitation of leading organizations both private and government.

Mr. Sopon earned his bachelor’s degree with second-class honor from the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University. With a scholarship from the Thai government, he obtained a master’s degree in economics from Michigan State University, U.S.A. He was later granted scholarship from Japan’s Young Leader Program to complete another master’s degree in Public Administration at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Japan.
