Ms. Sonklin Ploymee, Deputy Secretary General, Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), started her career in the Thailand Board of Investment as an Investment Promotion Officer in 1987 responsible for various targeted industries project such as Machinery and Equipment and Automotive Industry. She was posted the important position including the Director and Consul (Investment) in the Investment Section of the Royal Thai Consulate – General and Thailand Board of Investments in Osaka, Japan from 2011 to 2014, the Director of BOI Unit for Industrial Linkage Development from 2014 to 2016 and the Executive Director of the Foreign Investment Marketing Division from 2016 to 2019. Immediately prior to her promotion to the Executive Investment Advisor in 2010, she was promoted the Executive Director of the Industrial Linkage Development Division in 2019.

She graduated with the Bachelor of Arts from Chulalongkorn University and the Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom.
